They say that a good man is hard to find, so if you happen to be in a relationship with one it’s only right to show him how thankful you are for his love. If you think it’s high time that you surprise your man with a treat to show that you care, read and take your cues from this step by step list for the ultimate man’s treat and time out:
Phase 1: Make Him Feel Good
A hard-working man such as yours most likely has a body that’s just dying for a massage. Thus, the first phase in the ultimate treat is a trip to the spa for a massage that will work out all the kinks in his body. This does not need to be an all-day or a half-day affair, for you still have several tricks (or treats!) up your sleeve. Book a sixty or a ninety minute Swedish or Shiatsu massage to relieve the achy muscles in your man’s body and make him look forward to the next surprise.
Phase 2: Make Him Look Good
Once he feels rejuvenated from the massage, swing by the barbershop for a new cut, shave and nail pampering. If he’s not due for a trim, skip the scissors and have him indulge in a shave and hand and nail treatment. He’ll marvel at how smooth his hands and feet can be, thanks to the best men’s foot cream and some good old buffing – a welcome respite from all the hard work he does and mileage he walks on a regular basis!
Phase 3: Go To The Amusement Park
Your full participation is needed in this phase as you cut loose with your man at an amusement park, the carnival or what-have-yous. Whether his thing is bowling, racking up some points at the arcade or a thrilling ride on a rollercoaster, bring out his inner child (and lots of laughter) by indulging him in the things he loves to do but usually does not have time for. It’s a cheap but surefire way to make him feel wonderful and more connected to you at the same time!
Phase 4: Wow Him With Dinner
As the old adage goes, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. There are two ways to go about this. The first and easy way is to book a reservation at his favorite restaurant or a place that he has been wanting to try. The second one requires more effort, but if you’re up for it then by all means do it – and that is to cook dinner for him. Plop him on the sofa with his favorite video game to keep him busy while you whip up all his easy favorites in the kitchen. Keep in mind that most men are easy to please, so it shouldn’t require that you slave away to prepare a seven course meal that will leave you dog tired as a result. A few steaks on the grill, a quick macaroni and cheese and two takeout slices of his favorite cake should do the trick!
There you have it – four phases that make for the ultimate man’s treat which he will never forget. If you haven’t got the day to do all of these, then you can simple choose one and focus on just that instead!
